System Fuel Gas

Image provided by Ferris State University

Fuel gas systems convey natural gas or propane for laboratories, cooking, space heating, and heating water within a structure.  The systems include various valves for pressure regulation, venting, shutoff, service, safety and flow control to provide save and controlled distribution throughout the building.  The contractor will provide material and installation between the gas meter and all connected devices.  Internal piping pressure is very low compared to other applications within the HVAC industry; typically 25 psi maximum for industrial applications and 10 psi or less for commercial applications.
