System Condensate Drain

Condensate is the water that forms on the exterior of a cooling coil and drips down to be collected in a drain pan located under the coil. The condensate drain system is the piping that connects the drain pan outlet to the sanitary waste system. The piping is typically run to a floor drain, mop sink, or a lavatory waste.
